Who's AlienWrites, Anyway?

Amanda Lien (she/her) is a speculative fiction writer based in San Jose, California. Her short fiction has been published in Shelter of Daylight and her opinionated words have appeared in Fast Company's POV column.

 

She holds an MFA from National University and a BA from Temple University. While earning said MFA, her scholarship centered around creative writing and composition pedagogy, emphasizing diversity in speculative fiction.

 

Amanda is currently querying adult SF and polishing YA SF. (Clearly, she has a niche interest!) When she's not writing or reading fiction, she's working as a marketing writer. You can check out her professional work here.
